About me

I never planned on becoming a teacher. It found me.

At twenty one, I was working at a small after school program teaching guitar. One afternoon, while tuning my guitar, a student looked up and said words I will never forget.

“I wish you were my dad.”

He said it softly and casually. Then he placed his fingers back on a C chord and kept playing. But those six words changed the entire trajectory of my life.

That moment made me understand the power an educator can have on a young person. It showed me that teaching is not just content. It is connection. It is presence. It is believing in a child before they believe in themselves.

Fast forward fourteen years and I am now a fourth grade teacher doing everything I can to help kids feel seen, capable, and confident. That mission extends into every resource I create, every product I design for classrooms, and every story I tell on social media.

I want to help students discover their passions. I want to help teachers feel supported. And one day, I plan to open a school built around joy, purpose, and belonging.

There are still stepping stones ahead. Many more lives to impact.

Many more stories to write.

Join me for the journey…
